- What will I learn from the materials about each sport?
- You will learn the basics. It’s up to you to continue your “education” through the methods I recommend in the Printed Sports Guides as well as doing what comes naturally with any new hobby. In my Audio Lessons in the series, Paula Duffy, A Woman’s Guide to Basketball, Football and Baseball, I give specific tips about how to use what you know to Talk To the Screen and Talk To The Shirt or just generally Talk Sports.
- How do I book sessions with Paula or get her to speak for my group or college campus?
- Just send an email to info@incidentalcontact.com with your request for a Private Training, Group Session or a speaking engagement; leave the best way to reach you and the best times of the day or day of the week. It would help if you included what time zone you are in if you’d like a phone call.
- What are the prices for the coaching sessions or speaking engagements?
- When you send your request you will be provided with the prices based on whether it’s a speaking engagement, a private or group session. Private Sessions are priced for 2 or 3 hours; Group Sessions generally take between 2 and 2½ hours. Speaking engagements can be scheduled for a minimum of 60 minutes in front of an audience. Deposits for 50% of the total costs will be required to be sent to Incidental Contact to reserve the time and date of any session. and are priced based on the location, travel time and costs for Paula as well as the number of attendees who will be provided with the Sports To Go packages.
- Where will the coaching sessions take place?
- To the extent possible, an office or hotel meeting room location will be provided for each session, Should the attendees for a Group Session desire to make it a “Sports Learning Party” at an attendee’s home, a request can be made for that. It will be up to the discretion of Incidental Contact whether it will conduct a session at a private residence. Should travel beyond 30 miles from Incidental Contact’s location be required, pricing and locations for the sessions will vary based on what travel arrangements will be necessary.
- What is the cancellation policy for confirmed coaching sessions?
- All cancellation requests must be made to Incidental Contact’s email address at info@incidentalcontact.com. If your request arrives after the time for Paula to recoup any of her upfront costs for travel, accommodations, and the site for the session, your refund will consist of the difference between your 50% deposit and the costs incurred by Paula which are not able to be recouped. Should that amount be the same as your deposit, you will receive nothing back. If your request arrives in time for Paula to recoup all of her costs for the sessions, you will receive ½ your deposit back in the form paid. In other words, if you paid by check, you will receive a check from Incidental Contact within 30 days after your cancellation request arrives. If you paid by credit card, a credit to your card will be issued by Incidental Contact as soon as reasonably possible and subject to the terms and conditions of your credit card company.
